Far up in the Snowdonia mountains lies this very unforgiving (or at least it was when I went) incredible rain forest complete with a pine woodland. I went on the eve of 'Storm Brain' in October 2017 and went deep into the heart of the woodland I've never felt so alone before..was rather creepy. Around me the pines banged together as the strong winds whipped and swirled around me. Was a very interesting, enjoyable and terrifying all at once. :)
