Artist's Description
This shot was taken at the beautiful village of Castle Combe, Wiltshire UK. The mist/fog really adds to the atmosphere of the scene giving it a very Murder Mystery feel. I have taken many pictures in this beautiful little village but the composition and mist really adds to the strong portfolio of work I have already done here.
By the Church in the background being only just visible it really adds depth to the scene. A image I am very pleased with indeed :)

I love this image John! As an inveterate dreamer of high fantasy motifs I must admit my mind imagines a rider pounding up cobblestone towards St. Andrews to relay a message to the Bishop's guard on the approach of Henry II, Empress Matilda's son, treaty-envoked heir to King Stephen, and now King. Henry had come to make good King Stephen's claim on the Barony. This image you captured is this loyal rider's view, as he pauses and wonders if the keys have been left in the Kia. - - - The picture did bring to mind this snippet of some grander story, but the timing was placed due to the touch on the land from King Stephen. There aren't that many King Stephens. I myself having been reduced from my former title and position to Sir Guy That Hands Out Coat Check Tickets. -- On a serious note, this is the type of scene that I long to find. That mist really forces the feeling to your mind that something unexpected is just around the corner. Continued success, John.
