Description
Mountain Tears
This was shot at the magnificent Brecon Beacon south Wales UK.
It's always hard to know, when presented with such a very scenic scene such as this, how is the best way to go about capturing it in it's entirety?
Do I just focus on the waterfall? dose a panoramic format fit with this sort of image? I opted to go wide and concentrate on good composition as there where so many beautiful elements to this very relaxing and peaceful scene.
I slowed the shutter right down in order to get a soft flow to the waterfall. The amount of variation in the in the yellows/greens of the foliage was outstanding and I loved the fact it draped across the rock setting the textures of beautifully.
To me this image sets of everything that is beautiful about the Autumn months. When I look at this wonderful colourful and very beautiful landscape it jets me back to the peace and quite, just the sound of the soft flowing waterfall with a gentle wind, picturesque both in looks and in feeling.
Thank you for looking and reading I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do and did making it.
